F.A.Q's: Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the difference between the readers?
We have tried to bring together a variety of readers with a variety of specializations. Some readers have a greater strength in connecting with the other side (Psychic Medium), while others work better with Tarot cards and others work better with Rune stones. All of our readers are gifted at exploring future possibilities for you; the primary difference is in how they approach finding the answers.
2. What is the definition of a psychic medium, an oracle, a spiritual healer, etc?
A psychic medium is someone who is able to use his or her abilities to connect to and communicate with people who have crossed to the other side. An oracle is someone who is given insight into the future and sometimes the past, most often from a Divine source. A spiritual healer is someone who has learned to manipulate the natural energy field that is a part of each one of us in an effort to ease energetic hurts, smooth out tangled energy lines, and facilitate your body's natural healing process.
3. What would we prefer as readers? (Phone to chat to in person - is one better than the other?
All of our readers are proficient at doing readings in any venue, whether it is by phone, through Skype, or through private chat or in person. Like anyone else, each reader has their personal preference, but they are comfortable in working through any platform. Please feel free to ask about a particular reader if you would like to know what his/her preference is!
4. Why can't everyone connect to the other side?
There are two ways to answer this question. Not every reader can connect to the other side because, while every medium is a psychic, not every psychic is a medium. Some psychics make a choice, for whatever reason, that they do not want to cultivate this particular ability, and so they let it lie dormant. Some readers are born with the natural gift of connecting to the other side, and it comes as easily to them as breathing. Other readers are still in the process of awakening all the aspects of their natural talent; abilities don't suddenly turn on all at once, like flipping a light switch. Usually, it's a building process - you learn the basics of one skill as the foundation for learning the next.
Not every guest can receive a connection to the other side for various different reasons. Sometimes, your pain is still too intense - you're still hurting too much from the passing of someone you love - for your mind and heart to be open enough to receive the messages from the other side. Other times, the person to whom you are reach out is still adjusting to their new state of being, and can't answer back. If you request a medium session and your reader isn't able to connect, it may be that your reader's energy simply isn't compatible with the person they are trying to reach, and your departed loved one doesn't want to reach out to them. Just because one medium isn't able to complete the reading doesn't mean no medium will ever be able to make the connection.
5. Why can't you connect with a specific person?
A psychic medium is a conduit to the other side; they facilitate communication, and they reach out to the other side and receive whatever messages are sent back for them. They can't control your loved ones; no one can - and no one should try. The reason we can't guarantee that we will connect with a specific person is that we can't force them to answer. Think of it as dialing the phone in a boarding house. You can dial the number as often as you like, but you can't know exactly who will answer the phone when it rings. If the person with whom you are attempting to connect feels as though they have something to tell you, then they'll be standing by the phone, waiting to answer when the medium calls.
6. How often should I get a reading?
It depends a lot on the type of reading you're looking for. With a psychic medium reading, we recommend no more often than once every 30 days, and a longer time between each reading would be even better. Think about how you would feel if the same person called you every Monday afternoon, just to ask you the same question over and over. Pretty soon, you'd stop answering the phone, wouldn't you?
The same is true for future forecast readings; what our readers see are possibilities. The future is never carved in stone, and while the events that the readers see have the highest probability of occurring, nothing is guaranteed. Changes don't happen quickly, though. If you have a reading on Monday, then get a second reading on Wednesday, not enough time has passed between the two readings to make any changes in the possibilities big enough to be seen. We recommend receiving a future forecast reading no more often than every 30 days, and ideally once every 90 days.
7. Why don't you use any cards?
Using cards - or choosing not to use cards - is a matter of training and choice. Some of our readers began utilizing their abilities before they knew about Tarot cards, while others came into their abilities by learning to work with cards. One method is not better than the other or more accurate, they are just different ways to achieve the same ends.
8. Why do some readers used cards and other divination tool and others don't?
See the above answer; it's pretty much the same for this one. Some readers awakened their gifts by starting with Tarot cards, while others came into their gifts by starting with Rune stones or working with a Spirit Board. There is no right or wrong way exercise a gift; it all depends on the individual reader.
9. Can you really heal me through the phone?
Aura reading, future forecasting, healing - they all work through energy manipulation. Some forms of spiritual healing may be stronger if done in person, but energy transmits over phone lines and radio waves just like phone calls do. If you schedule a healing session to be done by phone or Skype, have confidence that it will work - our readers have learned to sense and correct the flow of energy, regardless of how they make that connection.
10. What is the suggested duration for a session with a medium or psychic?
It depends on the type of reading you're having done. If you are wanting a mediumship session, then the minimum amount of time you can book is 45 minutes. Connecting with the other side is a complicated process, and we want to ensure you have as much time as possible in order to make the connection and have a satisfying reading. Remember how we compared connecting to the other side like dialing a number in a boarding house? Imagine if you made that call, then had to wait 20 minutes for the person you were trying to reach to come to the phone so that you only had five minutes to talk before you had to rush out the door and get to another appointment - you would feel as though you'd wasted the effort to make the call! Through countless readings, we have found that 45 minutes is the ideal length for a mediumship session; long enough to be thorough, but not so long that you feel overwhelmed, especially the first few times you participate in a medium session.
For future forecasts, if you have only one topic you want to focus on - such as your career, or your relationship - we recommend at least 15 minutes, although 30 minutes is ideal. The more topics you want to cover (relationship, family, career, finances, etc.) the longer your reading needs to be, with a minimum of 15 minutes for each topic covered. Remember, the more time you book to cover a topic, the more thorough a reader can be - but there are also limits! If you only want to know about your career possibilities, then we recommend not booking longer than 30 minutes. Readers can only receive and interpret so much; after a point, they will simply get the same information over and over again, expressed in different ways.
